Recently, Universal Music’s Official Instagram posted some photos of BLACKPINK in a bright and flower-filled background, which has fans speculating if this is a sign of a comeback by the beautiful girl band.
The post was a compilation of the girls’ pictures with flowers and the theme of spring, ranging from casual to ethereal photoshoots, surrounded by the flora.
The caption, “Blackpink but make it spring” had the fans in a frenzy, thinking that it may be a hint by the Universal Group of BLACKPINK’S comeback. It has been a long time since the band’s last album in June 2020.
Will BLACKPINK make a comeback this year?
The group’s full-fledged comeback with “The Album” was a hit and ever since then, the girls have been focusing more on their solo careers. Lisa and Rosé have released their own solos and Jisoo debuted in the Korean acting industry with “Snowdrop“.
They even had collaborations with stars such as Selena Gomez with their single “Ice Cream.”
Even though BLINKS absolutely love what the girls are doing individually, they are still eagerly waiting for them to come back as a band and spread the magic again. Since the pandemic has hit, Rosé and Lisa both came in touch with the COVID virus and healed successfully.
They could make a summer comeback, based on the speculations above and the post by Universal Music. Plus, it’s time that the band returned, wouldn’t you agree?
